Great service and friendly tellers
Poor excuse of a bank. Does nothing for the Nebraska economy. City of Hastings should have NEVER wrote you a business or building permit. Used car lots loathe you as Heartland is only busy catering to high end car lots nearby and not the small ones on the south side of town. I went in here 2 1/2 weeks ago to speak with a bank rep about an auto loan on a used car. I was gravely insulted by the staff when I was asking for a loan on a car that was made in the 90s. Their policy is, if it isn't newer than 2008. We want to eye gouge you 300% interest! I really didn't want an expensive loan on something that was fairly new, as the maintenance costs are very high. Instead, I was outright insulted by the banker as they didn't want to loan on something too old, as they quote. How come a person cant get a loan on just any vehicle, they are still going to be making excruciating money on the thing no matter what. After a barrage of poor excuses and substantial time spent. I figured it was time to walk out and go out saying to myself. Looks like Heartland is another wasted piece of real estate in Hastings Nebraska. Another dumb bank blowing hot air to its customers when they themselves have no money to loan the public, when they are too busy flushing it down the can. Sorry Heartland bank, People don't want pricey piece of junk plastic cars and trucks. They want stuff that runs and doesn't eat them out their paycheck. I wanted to write a nice review about Heartland bank, I think it would be nice to see a small town bank stand out from the rest of the scumbag banks that filter into this area such as Doniphan, Wells fargo, and a whole flock of other liars that have moved into Hastings, Nebraska. I've NEVER seen a town with so many stupid banks and not a single bank willing to work with ANYONE! but hey, Well, heartland was a mistake, I guess I was wrong. Just another pathetic waste of land development that blind-sides it's customers and pays them NOTHING for everything. Close your doors down you. You aren't wanted here in Nebraska.
It is truly the bank with heart. We have banked with this institution when it was geneva state bank and have always enjoyed our banking experience with this institution. Between business and personal accounts and loans at heartland we have always found it to be staffed with friendly, outgoing ,and caring individuals from the president to the tellers. From experience i can say not every Bank has that going for them. It is a bank full of heart and a staff I can call my friends.
